Conscious Creators

'For many years I have been working with the idea that our thoughts are actually the core creators of our reality. A thought can create physical as well as mental states, and we are also able to choose the thoughts that we think and thus choose the reality that we live in, through a process of osmosis. Conscious Creators is a series of paintings where I have dealt with specific people and responded to the energy that they give me primarily on an intuitive level, but also through the conversations that I have with them. Color too, for me, is a language which has its own intuitive structure, and the words and colors used to form the image of the sitter reflect them both on an energetic and intellectual level. My hope is that the paintings can communicate directly with both the conscious and subconscious of the viewer.'
